Reviews and Ratings
I am so glad we booked two rooms instead of sharing one since they were very small and would have been cramped for all three of us. The price was a bit on the expensive side at nearly €100 per person per night without breakfast included. The food in the restaurant was not great overall, although the mains were lovely. I, unfortunately, couldn't enjoy the cheesecake for dessert. However, the rooms were clean, had all the necessary facilities such as coffee, shampoos, conditioner, and a hairdryer, which made the stay nice and comfortable. The hotel is in need of renovation.
My stay at the hotel was quite satisfactory. The rooms, although a bit small, were clean and acceptable for the price we paid. The service was friendly and attentive, with delicious breakfast, but there was a slight issue with entry restrictions. The location was convenient, allowing easy access to the city center, and the dining experience was good with a variety of options. Overall, a decent choice with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is in a convenient location with nearby parking and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, although some improvements in electrical outlets could enhance the stay. The dining experience offers a good selection of fresh produce at a reasonable price.
The hotel was well set up with comfortable new mattresses and two bathrooms, making it convenient for a group of three guests like us. The rooms were equipped with ample supplies and amenities, but the lack of temperature control made it overly hot at times. The service was friendly and efficient, especially from Dave and the receptionists who also served as waitresses. The location was quite good, allowing easy access to the town center, though it was noted as not being perfect. On the dining side, the offerings were modest, with room for improvement. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
Arriving at 4 pm, the rooms were very cold but luckily we had booked 2 rooms which were spacious and comfortable, although pricey at nearly €100 each per night without breakfast. The restaurant food was a mixed bag with lovely mains but disappointing desserts.
The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, but the service was lacking. The location was excellent, close to the main area of the city. The dining experience was enjoyable and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Kilkenny's medieval mile. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a cozy stay. The friendly and helpful staff enhance the overall experience, although the dining options could be improved. A good value for a stay with plenty of nearby attractions to visit.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were lovely and clean, with a thoughtful touch for St Valentine's Day. However, they could benefit from some brightening up with more lighting and decor. The interconnecting door to the adjoining room was a convenient feature. The lack of cooling options made the room a bit warm.
